Health Professions Career Fair
October 2, 2012 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
HAL Atrium

The Pre-Health Professions Advisory Committee is sponsoring a Health Professions Career Fair on Tuesday, October 2 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. in HAL Atrium.

Sign-in will begin at 6 p.m. in HAL Atrium. Representatives from colleges with M.D., D.O., nursing, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other health science programs will be available for panel discussions about applying and preparing for a career in that particular field.

There will be two 40-minute sessions so you may attend two different presentations.  Please keep in mind that many of the colleges and universities offer programs in more than just one health profession.  For example, you may not be interested in osteopathic medicine, but the representatives coming can also speak to other programs offered at their campuses.  Following the sessions, there will be a casual reception giving you the opportunity to talk further with the speakers.

Whether you’re a freshman or getting ready to graduate, you’ll want to attend this informative event.  Please register via the "sign up" tab on MyGCC.  If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Leonard, Director of Academic Advising, at
