REGISTRAR'S OFFICE
The Office of Academic Advising works closely with the Registrar's Office to assist academic departments, students and faculty advisors in offering accurate, up-to-date information and guidance regarding the College’s general academic policies and procedures. Students are encouraged to communicate with the Registrar’s Office in person or via e-mail after meeting with their faculty advisors with questions and/or concerns.
The Registrar's Office works to ensure a smooth administrative process. It also:
Oversees student registration for classes
Approves the changing (adding/deleting) of majors
Establishes, monitors, and evaluates a student's graduation requirements
Approves all off-campus coursework
Answers questions regarding GPA and transcripts
Many students are interested to know how to Request a Transcript.
The Registrar's website is the best place to find up-to-date and accurate information, including all of the various "forms" you'll need relevant to the successful completion of your GCC degree program. For example, you'll find forms for:
