The Pre-Health Professions
Advisory Committee (PHPAC) and the Pre-Health
Society are sponsoring a Health Professions
Career Fair on Wednesday, October 5 from 6:30-8:30
p.m.in the IM Room in the Physical Learning
Center (PLC). Representatives from
universities with M.D., D.O., nursing, dental,
pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant
and other health professions programs will be
staffing tables in the IM Room to discuss the
programs they offer and how to prepare for a
career in the various health professions. Please keep in mind that
many of the colleges and universities offer
programs in more than just one health
profession. For example, the osteopathic
colleges attending offer more than just a D.O.
degree. So, be sure to stop and ask them about
their other programs. Whether you’re a freshman or getting ready to graduate, you’ll want to attend this informative event. Please register by clicking on the “Registration” icon. The deadline to register is September 29. Be sure to bring your student ID with you. Dress is business casual.
