Campus Crusade for Christ is an interdenominational, student led, Christian organization whose mission is to win students to the Lord, build them up in their faith, and send them out into the world to do evangelism. Here at Grove City College the group provides strong fellowship and evangelism opportunities.

Canterbury Fellowship   This Group is Currently Inactive

Canterbury Fellowship is a group for students to discuss and learn about Anglican theology. Anglicans and non-Anglicans are welcome.

Clowns for Christ   This Group is Currently Inactive

The purpose of the Clowns for Christ ministry is twofold: First, they desire to spread the love and joy of Christ to others, whether through skits or other types of “clowning around”. Second, they earnestly seek to challenge and encourage Christians in their walk and present the good news of Jesus Christ to the unsaved. It is their prayer that they may humbly serve those to whom they minister, and therefore, through God’s blessing, glorify the name of Christ.

DRIVE (Drama Reaching Inner-cities through Visual Evangelism) is a student-led ministry with the goal of sharing the message of God's love through powerful Gospel-centered dramas set to music.  The weekly meetings combine fellowship, Bible study, drama practice, and evangelism training.  The group does various outreaches throughout the semester in which it presents the dramas on city streets, in churches, or partnered with other missions in order to both meet physical needs as well as share the gospel.  DRIVE is ideal for anyone with a passion for fellowship and for sharing Christ with others.

 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

This group is open to men and women athletes and to those interested in athletics who have a Christian perspective of play and competition. The national purpose of FCA is to confront athletes and coaches with the challenges and adventure of following Christ. Meetings are held Sunday evenings and include singing, discussion, Bible study and/or athletics.

The purpose of this organization is to encourage Grove City College students to seek a Christian perspective in education and to provide an opportunity for those students to develop an understanding of Christian principles and ideas within this context. The FCE provides a service for those interested in expanding their awareness of the place, function and result of Christianity in the classroom.

The IJM Grove City campus chapter exists to enable students to raise their voices on behalf of those oppressed by human trafficking. To accomplish this, we have a three-tiered strategy: awareness (through events and speakers), education (through a monthly instructional course), and involvement (through a community awareness program).

IVMF is a campus ministry that seeks to foster a servant’s attitude toward each other and those around us, while maintaining a constant vision for missions worldwide. Our goal is to promote a sacrificial lifestyle of prayer and outreach through a community in Christ, committed to advancing God’s Kingdom near and far. We offer many ways to get involved both on and off campus, including, but not limited to: weekly Impact meetings, small groups, prayer meetings, weekend retreats, outreaches to Slippery Rock University, and our annual Missions Conference.

The Life Advocates is a non-denominational group bound by their convictions concerning the Biblical truths with regard to the issues of abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. They believe that the value of human life is an issue of universal public concern and not merely a matter of personal morality. Their purpose is to inform the college community about local and national issues concerning the value of human life.

Men for God is a non-denominational Christ-centered ministry for men of Grove City College. The mission of Men of God is to challenge males to be Godly men of integrity who will influence the Grove City community and beyond. As an equipping ministry the organization hosts monthly meetings and training programs to encourage men to be accountable to God and to each other.

New Grace is a singing group that proclaims the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This group is comprised of 19 members who are enthusiastic and dedicated to using their musical talents to glorify the Lord. New Grace travels to churches and proclaims the Word of God through song and testimony. New Grace is active on campus, performing in chapel and for other occasions. They stand united as brothers and sisters in the fellowship of the Lord.

Members of this outreach offer hope and a chance for new life to the young men at George Junior Republic, a local juvenile delinquent placement center. New Life members can participate in Thursday evening youth meetings, individual cottage Bible studies, various chapel services and on-campus prayer teams. Special events also occur throughout the year.

The Newman Club is a fellowship organization that seeks to meet the needs of Catholic students on campus and seeks to educate all interested students about the Catholic faith. The goals of the group are Christian fellowship. intellectual and spiritual edification, and community service. 1.       The Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is a college ministry branch of the worldwide Eastern Orthodox Church. The purpose of the OCF of Grove City College is to support fellowship on campus, to experience and witness the Orthodox Christian Church through community life, prayer, service to others, and study of the Faith (Acts 2:42). Furthermore, OCF will work to nurture and strengthen love for Jesus Christ and His Church in its fullness at this most critical juncture of human life and offer an opportunity for Orthodox Christian students and those who are interested in the Orthodox Christian Church to become more fully acquainted with and informed about their Orthodox heritage.

Polk Christian Outreach

The Polk Christian Outreach is a group that ministers to the mentally and physically handicapped adults at Polk Canter, a state-run institution in Polk, PA. The group holds weekly worship services for 40-50 individuals including songs, a short devotional, and prayer. The group also holds Bible studies, arts and craft time, and basketball games. Students meet at 6:30 pm in North Lobby every Wednesday evening to depart for the center. No special skills are required.

1)      The purpose of Project Okello is to be an instrument of hope, healing and Christ’s love to the people of Uganda through prayer and action. We meet every week to pray for Uganda as well as to organize events and fundraisers to support different projects in Uganda as well as raise awareness of the needs there.

Salt Company This ministry group is currently inactive.

Salt Company’s goal is to help students on this campus to be the “Salt and Light” in controversial contemporary issues. We do this by inviting professors who are experts on different controversial topics to share with us every other Friday night at 6:00pm in Ket Rec.  We start each meeting with praise and worship. The members of Salt Company plan these meetings and other events, but everyone is welcome to attend.

Steel City Ministries serves the Pittsburgh area with Christian service and support. From tutoring city youth to working in neighborhoods to help revitalize communities, these students work under the banner of serving others in the name of Christ.

Stonebridge Concerts is a Christ-centered organization that strives to invite to campus musical artists who will offer Christian ministry through their music. Stonebridge’s aim is to provide Grove City College with artists who will bring glory to God through a variety of musical performance styles.

Warriors for Christ, as a group of committed Christians, strives to be used in ushering in God’s Spirit of revival on campus. Their goal is pursued through a meeting time of praise, corporate prayer, and teaching. Outside of the meetings, small prayer groups are organized for a time of sharing personal concerns, along with praying for the needs of the campus.

Young Life

Outreach in local schools throughout the week

 Young Life is an international evangelical organization with the primary goal of presenting Christianity to high school students. This goal is accomplished by building personal relationships, weekly meetings (called “Club”), and taking the high school students to Young Life Summer camps. Responsibilities of a Young Life leader are Club, Campaigners (Bible study for students), and contact work at the high school.
