Appalachian Immersion

Appalachian Immersion is a 9-12 month internship with Good Works, Inc. in Athens, Ohio. Interns live in the Good Works Hannah House and serve in several different outreach ministries. Interns are provided with housing (including utilities) and most of their food, as well as a monthly stipend of $300. For more information, please click here.

Children's Activity Center

Childrenís Activity Center, a.k.a. Walking Faith Ministry, is a faith based inner-city childrenís ministry based in Houston TX and modeled after Metro Ministries New York City. The Childrenís Activity Centerís main focus is to target at-risk kids in Houstonís toughest neighborhoods and reach them immediately and urgently with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Josiah Venture

Oxfam America CHANGE Initiative

College students interested in social justice issues, such as global issues related to mining, Fair Trade coffee, hunger, and international trade, can apply for this program. Students accepted into the program can take advantage of Oxfam America's leadership training and become skilled and knowledgeable agents of change. Leaders will then use their new skills and insights to run Oxfam campaigns on their campuses and in their local communities.

Prison Fellowship Internships

Internships encompass a variety of fields of study including marketing, business administration, events, liberal arts, public policy, criminal justice, research, political science, and information technology. All interns will have the opportunity to participate in various events, such as visits to Capitol Hill, meeting with Christian political leaders, and worldview Bible studies.

Young Disciples Teams

We are looking for Catholic adults (must be at least 18 years old) who love Jesus, who love being Catholic and who would consider being a part of a summer mission team. Our website is he commitment is for 10 weeks, beginning May 15 through July 29, 2008.  

Team members receive stipends from sponsors along with room, board and training.  Team members might also be able to receive college credit or intern credit depending on their universities. Please click here for more information.


Youth Ministry Summer Internship Program

Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina is seeking 4 college students (2 male and 2 female) to serve on their summer youth ministry staff.  They will provide students tangible ministry experience while also providing them with in-depth training throughout the summer. The students will receive a stipend of $2400.00 with other expenses being covered, housing is included as well.
