Dear GCC Alumni:
The Grove City College Career Services Office is grateful to have an
alumni network which functions like a family, is passionate about the
institution and desires to "give back" by serving students in the area
of career development. We realize that our alumni are key
constituents of ours and hope to partner with
alums from a diverse range of career fields who are willing to offer
insights from their career experiences to our students and to serve as
advocates for our students within their places of employment.
We offer many ways for alumni to
get connected with our office and our students, including
during the fall
semester as well as our which occurs every other spring. Contact Mandy
Sposato, Associate Director of Career Services, at
alsposato@gcc.edu
if you are interested in participating in such opportunities.
Interested in playing a role in
recruiting GCC students for your organization?
We hope to utilize alumni to assist our current GCC students with
their job/internship searching needs and to serve as advocates for them within
your
places of employment. One main way you could assist us with this
endeavor is to inform us of any internship and full-time job
opportunities where you work that could be filled by Grove City College
students. Feel free to inform your Human Resources Department of
our various
recruiting opportunities, as well as our annual
fall
Career Fair. Consider even attending the
event yourself on behalf of your organization!
With respect to your own job search and career needs, we offer a variety
of career resources for our alumni. One resources is the online
Alumni Directory which allows you to search for
classmates, network with alumni who live in a particular area, find
fraternity brothers/sorority sisters and much more! In addition,
the
Alumni Career Center allows you to view/post job
opportunities and connect with other alumni by creating a resume profile
and online business card.
Overall, we are eager to connect GCC alums with our office and greatly
look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Director of Career Services
