References/Recommendation
Letters
References play a critical role in the job search process.
It is not unusual for employers to seek out others’ opinions
of you from those with whom you’ve had a previous
relationship—particularly, faculty members and former
employers. This is where professional references come into
play. It is standard to supply prospective employers with a
list of three to five references.
If you would like to use our
Recommendation Form for your recommendation letters, you
may do so and also store them in our office. We will
make these letters available to our on-campus recruiters
pending authorization from you to release them through a
signed registration form.
