Welcome!!

The accounting program at Grove City College leading to a B.S. in Accounting strives to be consistent with and support the mission of the college to deliver an outstanding academic education in a thoroughly Christian learning environment.  More specifically, the department has the following stated objectives:

1. Provide comprehensive instruction in core and advanced accounting-related topics that focus on theoretical understanding, analytical reasoning, and problem solving.

2. Encourage and support the continual development of interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.

3. Foster an awareness of international issues, including challenges and opportunities.

4. Continue to cultivate information technology skills to enhance productivity and provide innovative solutions.

While a majority of students pursue careers in public accounting upon graduation, others choose the corporate sector, not-for-profit work, graduate school, and missions among many other alternatives.  The department now offers a 150-credit hour, four-year dual major program in both Accounting and Finance.  Click on the link to the left for more details. I hope you find the information on our website helpful, and if I can be of further assistance please contact me directly at dsbaglia@gcc.edu or [724]458-3361.

Sincerely,

Dr. David S. Baglia, Chair
