Dr. David M. Miller-Martini has been appointed to the position of Director of the Entrepreneurship Program and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship.  Dr. James V. Dupree has assumed the position of Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Program in addition to Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department.  This addition to the program is the direct result of double digit program growth and the gift of an anonymous donor. Under Dr. Dupree’s leadership, Dr. Miller-Martini will oversee the various developmental and operational aspects of this rapidly growing program.  Dr. Miller-Martini’s entrepreneurial business experience and extensive academic vitae – grants, publications – and clear faith stance, deepens and extends the capacity of the department and the program. Working with Dr. Jim Dupree, he will administer the Entrepreneurship program while teaching half-time in the department. Dr. Miller-Martini has received a B.A. degree in Chemistry from D’Youville College, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at San Antonio.  Dr. Miller-Martini also brings with him 17 years of R & D experience, has been the CEO of a technology start-up company, and is recently returned to the U.S. with over 7 years of international business development and research experience while working in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Biotechnology Research Institute.  Dr. Miller-Martini expressed, “I am looking forward to this substantial opportunity to impart elements of my education and experience to prepare a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs with the capacity to advance and improve the world’s condition while holding firmly to their ethical and moral values that are anchored in Christian principles.”
