I knew that I wasn't ready to be a classroom teacher following
graduation, and I also knew that I wanted to continue my studies, so
graduate school was a logical choice. I began the search my junior
year, and by senior year had found a program that really interested me
and was close to my hometown.
I started searching the colleges in cities I wanted to live in - mostly
those located near family. From there, I chose one or two branches of
study that sounded interesting, and those searches led me to more
school. And I prayed through it all.
Look closely at the requirements. One of the perks of the program I
chose was that it did not require GRE scores, which I was grateful for
after having run the gamut of PRAXIS tests.
