What influenced your decision to go to graduate school?

I wanted to further my education and challenge myself to learn something new.  I also wanted to increase my job opportunities for the future.

How did you explore graduate school?

I searched online and began to seek out different types of graduate programs that were available in my area.  I was originally looking for a degree that would make me a better classroom teacher.  However, I ended up finding a whole new way to use my gifts as a teacher.

Do you have any tips related to the application process?

Let your passion and life experiences shine through on your application.  It is hard to turn someone down who is clearly passionate about learning or about helping others.
