Breakthrough Collaborative, a national program to help prepare students
from low-income families who possess high academic potential, but limited

Network of International Christian Schools (NICS)
NICS provides opportunities to incorporate an
American-style education (in English, American curriculum, American school
calendar) and reach students from all over the world with quality
international school education. NICS operates 19 international Christian
schools in 15 countries (see the NICS
website for a complete listing of countries). NICS is looking for
teachers and administrators who are passionate about sharing their faith
in and out of the classroom. Our students represent over 100 countries and
are primarily the children of businessmen, military personnel,
missionaries, diplomats, and embassy staff. An ideal teaching candidate
would have a bachelor’s degree and teacher certification.

TeachBeyond and the many schools around the world who are part of this
organization, e.g. Black Forest Academy, Germany. (We have 3 GCC alumni
serving at Black Forest Academy in different capacities--elementary,
middle school & residence life).

AM; Job Fair from 10:00-2:00. Panel discussion with
educators and administrators from local districts will be followed by a
small job fair with approximately 10 employers. Wes Derr from
TeachingInPA.com will present a breakout session on Finding a Job in PA - offered at 10:15, 10:45, and 11:15

Dr. Dave Santellanes will be
conducting teacher candidate interviews at SRU in Bailey Library the
afternoon and evening of October 17. Certification areas of
Dec. 2013 & May 2014 grads - PreK-4, special
education, 7th and 8th grade math, science, and English teachers;
Update: Unfortunately, because Arizona
does not have the middle level grade band, they cannot accept PA's
middle level certification. Dr. Santellanes is very apologetic
about this, but he will not be able to interview middle-level
candidates for the 7/8 grade positions - only secondary candidates.

presentation introduces the concept of "calling" as it pertains to future
vocation. It also provides an introduction to the centralized Career
Services Office (CSO) programs and resources that enhance the services of
ECS (Education Career Services).
