Myers-Briggs Type Indicator -
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), an online inventory, is the most
widely used personality assessment in the world. With a proven record of
reliability spanning more than 50 years, it offers a foundation for
understanding individual differences and applying that understanding to
the ways people think, communicate, and interact. The Myers-Briggs
reports your preferences on 4 of 8 possible items and there are 16
personality types possible. The MBTI tool helps you learn about
occupational choices that would best match your personality and how your
personality preferences fit into different work environments.
The MBTI assessment is available to take online through JobGrove at a
nominal cost. We recommend that you contact our office to schedule a
follow-up appointment to interpret the results with a counselor.

A short quiz is available on myGCC to help you determine your

work in which you might be comfortable. There are 6 interest types
possible indicated in the chart below. Your report will include your
top interests, as well as a list of occupations that seem to best match
your interests.
