Requirements

Children must be 3 years old by September 30th and toilet trained in order to enroll in the program.

The EEC requires immunizations required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, which must be completed before admission. An updated schedule of required immunizations is attached to the application.       (click to view immunization requirements)

Any removable items such as backpacks, coats, boots, and hats need to be clearly labeled with the child's first and last name.  Backpacks are highly recommended for easier traveling between home and school.

A $40.00 non-refundable deposit is required when the application is submitted to the Education Office

If a family withdraws a child before the school year begins, it is necessary to notify the Education Office immediately so a child from the waiting list can enroll in the program. No refunds are given for withdrawal.

Payments MUST be made to the Financial Service Office (Crawford Hall) at the beginning of Fall and Spring semester. 1/2 of the amount is due each semester or a family may choose to pay the full amount at the beginning of the school year.

Statements will be given to each family at the Initial EEC orientation (fall) and on the first class session day (spring).

Fall semester payments will be DUE Mid-September
Spring Semester payments will be DUE Mid-February

Bills not paid by those dates will be considered overdue and will be assessed a $35.00 late fee.

Payment extensions may be granted should an extenuating circumstance, such as medical emergency, loss of home or job, occur for your family. Please immediately contact Carolyn Patterson, Assistant Director, at 724-458-2600 or Michelle Williams, Director of Financial Services, at 724-458-2216 to confidentially discuss your situation.

Tuesday/Thursday:  $580.00 per year

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: $830.00 per year

Photographs, video, and audio are an integral part of our classroom community and allow the children and staff to revisit learning activities and share experiences. Pictures and recordings may be an important aspect of our GCC students’ projects or publicity for the Early Education Center. A signed permission slip at the beginning of the year allows parents the opportunity to designate permission to use multi-media with each child in learning activities.
