Dr. Lois Larson Johnson
Director of Early Education Center

Dr. Johnson is Director of Early Childhood in the Education Department.  Dr. Johnson teaches early childhood courses, children's literature, supervises field and student teaching experiences, and works with the Early Education Center program.  Her graduate work is in the field of Early Childhood. 

 

Mrs. Carolyn Patterson
Assistant Director/Early Education
Center Teacher

Mrs. Patterson has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  She supervises and mentors students as they work in the Early Childhood Center.  Mrs. Patterson designs and facilitates the program for the center, always enhancing and creating new and appropriate learning.   
 

Mrs. Debbie R. Mincey
Early Education center Teacher

Mrs. Mincey is the Tuesday / Thursday Early Childhood Center teacher.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Education. She teacher is responsible for the T/R daily programming in coordination with the Assistant Director

 
 

Grove City College Students

Grove City College students are a vital part of the Early Education Center.  Students can do a field experience, take a 1 credit course, return for an additional experience for 1 or 2 credits, or student teach in the EEC.  The children love their many teachers and benefit from the enthusiasm and creativity the college students bring!
