The Annual Business Plan Competition is coordinated by the Grove City College Entrepreneurship Program. The competition provides an opportunity for all Grove City College students to learn the importance of developing a solid business plan, identifying strategies and risks and how to present their plan to potential investors. Student business plans are reviewed by alumni and friends of the College who provide written comments, which are returned to the teams. From these reviews, non-profit and for-profit finalist teams are chosen to present their plans to a panel of judges in a public forum. Judges select winners for the first-place prizes of $4,500, second-place prizes of $3,000 and third-place prizes of $2,000. Awards are presented at the Parents' Day Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 2. The names of this year's recipients will join past winning teams on a permanent display plaque located on the third floor of the Hall of Arts and Letters.
