Capstone Design Program
During his or her senior year, every Grove City College mechanical engineer takes part in a Capstone Design Project.  Students work together in groups to design and construct a useful and marketable device. Students also consider social and environmental impact, product packaging, production facilities and methods, and safety concerns when designing their projects.

Business Plan Competition
In addition to designing and constructing their projects, students also create a business plan for marketing and selling their device. This plan is entered into the Grove City Business Plan Competition.  This competition offers cash prizes for the top teams. Learn more about the Business Plan Competition at the Grove City College Entrepreneurship website.
