Luke Juday (pictured above) has been named Fullbright Scholar for 2010-2011. His research will be conducted in Gaborone, Botswana.
Dr. Stanton was named an Academic Fellow for 2010-2011 by the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. As part of his fellowship he traveled to Israel for a symposium on terrorism and counter-terrorism.
The first week of Sept. 2011 was spent by Dr. Coulter and Dr. Stanton in Washington, DC at the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association. Dr. Coulter served as a panel chair and discussant and Dr. Stanton served as a panel chair and discussant and presented research on repression and civil war in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Dr. Folkertsma led a contingent of students from Grove City College to CPAC in February 2011 and then attended a conference on American Exceptionalism at Regent University. Dr. Folkertsma has also completed his work on portions of "The Tea Party American's Handbook".
Dr. Stanton attended the ISA 2011 Conference in Montreal in March 2011 presenting research on elections and civil wars in Sub-Saharan Africa at the Annual Meeting of the International Studies Association.
Dr. Stanton was invited and attended the 58th Annual National Security Forum in May 2011 at Maxwell AFB, AL.
