Note: This page is
only for those students who have already received their Promo codes via
e-mail. If you haven't signed up, you must do that first via
the Napster portlet under the Sign-Up tab on
myGCC.
If you have already enrolled, please wait until you receive your Promo
code before proceeding. GCC employees should see the
employee page for enrollment information. Promo Code Redemption Instructions: info for New Members OR info for Returning Members NEW STUDENTS & NEW NAPSTER MEMBERS: After receiving your promo code via email, please register online before downloading the Napster client. Use the email link or go to http://sms.napster.com/nweb/subscribe/ and enter your promo code. After successful registration, you'll be able to download and install the Napster client! (Note: You MUST enter the promo code at the time of registration; you cannot apply it after you've created the account! For help, see the FAQs.) RETURNING STUDENTS WITH EXISTING NAPSTER ACCOUNTS If you have used the Napster University Program Subscription Service at previously, and need to re-activate the service for a new year, please follow the directions below: Case A - NAPSTER IS ALREADY INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER

FAQ page.) Case B - I AM USING A COMPUTER THAT DOES NOT HAVE NAPSTER INSTALLED
* If
the pop-up window in step 4 does not appear when you log in, visit "My
Account > Account Status" in the top menu and follow the steps from
there to redeem your promo code Case C - I HAVE A NAPSTER ACCOUNT, BUT NOT THROUGH MY SCHOOL If you are already a Napster member, but have never registered for the Napster University Subscription Service, your promo code will not be redeemable without creating a new account*. You can do this by following these easy steps:
* Please note that you will NOT be able to use the same e-mail address for both accounts. If you need to change the e-mail address, simply sign in with your original username, click on the My Account menu on the Napster client and select Member Information. Click on the Edit button at the top and change your email address. * NOTE: FOR USERS WITH DOWNLOAD BLOCKERS INSTALLED (such as IE Service Pack II), A WARNING MESSAGE WILL APPEAR UNDERNEATH THE BROWSER'S MENU BAR WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO DOWNLOAD THE NAPSTER CLIENT. TO CONTINUE THE DOWNLOAD PROCESS, CLICK ON THE WARNING MESSAGE AND SELECT "DOWNLOAD FILE" FROM THE DROP DOWN THAT APPEARS. IF YOU FOLLOW THE LINK ON THE SCREEN TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE, INSTEAD OF CLICKING ON THE ERROR MESSAGE, YOU MAY BE ASKED TO ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
STUDENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ENTER THEIR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. IF YOU
REACH THIS POINT, STOP THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE TITLED: "NAPSTER IS ALREADY INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER". IF YOU NO LONGER WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SERVICE AFTER THE SUBSCRIPTION ENDS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE CANCELLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
