Welcome to the Gospel Team Webpage!

OUR MISSION:

The purpose of Gospel Team is to serve the Lord as Christ and Savior, to be His witness through song, skit, prayer and sharing the wonderful works he has done through our lives, to lead His people in services of worship, to grow individually in our walk with Christ, to grow as a group through our common bond in Christ, to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and His love, and to be representatives of Grove City College.

We seek to service our community through a three-part ministry, we travel to local and distant churches to lead congregations in worship, and we seek to provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth for our members through bible study and fellowship.

Our ministry:  Songs, Skits, Spoken Words

1) Songs:  Gospel Team meets weekly to prepare music for use in leading worship.  Music may consist of traditional hymns, anthems, spirituals, and contemporary worship pieces.

2) Skits:  Gospel Team members prepare brief skits that teach biblically based lessons on Christian living.

3) Spoken Words:  Gospel Team members share their own personal testimony, highlighting God's work (and continued work) in their lives.

Service Projects:  Gospel Team also seeks to service our community by participating in service projects that benefit members of our community.  (For example: volunteering at a soup kitchen, raking leaves, visiting nursing homes, etc.)

Tour:  The highlight of Gospel Team's ministry is its tour that takes place during "spring recess" (short spring semester break).  Gospel Team caravans through an area of the country performing music and skits, offering our testimonies, and volunteering our time.

We're selling Buckeyes this week (November 10-14) until we sell out

Service at Dr. Bibza's church - November 16, 2008

- Meet at 7:40am at Hicks

We will be caroling at some point before the end of the semester
