Small Groups

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

--Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)

Men of God's primary effort is directed toward small groups. Small groups in Men of God are groups of young men at GCC who commit to meeting once a week for the school year. A small group leader, part of the Men of God leadership team, leads and facilitates a combination of accountability (sharing personal joys and problems to seek help in humility), prayer, and study of a theme which the leader has presented, prayed over, and studied (a book of the Bible, topics regarding young men becoming more like Christ, a Christian book, &c.). Men of God groups are in no way meant to replace individuals' attending and being deeply involved with good local churches.

Men of God generally aims to have four to six members and one or two leaders in each group. If you want to know more about God as revealed in the Holy Bible, feel free to contact one of the leaders directly.
