SCROLL AND KEY
Scroll and Key is the scholastic honorary for senior students.  It is the highest academic award given by the College.  Not more than one student may be selected for each fifteen members of the senior class.

ALPHA THETA MU CHAPTER OF MORTAR BOARD
Mortar Board is the national senior honorary on campus.  Annually, junior men and women with high scholastic achievement who have contributed outstanding leadership and service to the College are tapped for membership.

BETA MU CIRCLE OF OMICRON DELTA KAPPA
Omicron Delta Kappa, a national honorary, recognized juniors and seniors for their outstanding leadership to the College in the areas of scholarship, athletics, social service, religious activities, campus government, journalism, speech, mass media, and the creative and performing arts.

These Beta Beta Beta annual awards are given to a senior biology major and a senior molecular biology major who show outstanding ability in the fields of biological sciences.

CROMBIE ALLEN PEACE PRIZE AWARD
Pi Gamma Mu is a national social science honorary fraternity.  Its purpose is to improve scholarship in the social studies and to achieve synthesis therein.  A scholarship is awarded to the member who best serves the organization.

The history award is given to a senior for scholarship, historical research and writing, and contributions to the historical discipline on campus.

Annual award presented to the most outstanding engineering graduate.

PHILIP N. CARPENTER SENIOR MATHEMATICS AWARD
This award is given by the faculty of the Department of Mathematics to the senior mathematics major who, in the opinion of the department, possesses the highest achievement and potential of the graduating mathematics majors. This award is based on high mathematics and overall quality point averages with extracurricular activities and moral character also considered.

FRANKLIN C. KETLER MATHEMATICS PRIZE
This monetary award, established by the estate of Dr. Franklin C. Ketler Jr., is awarded to the graduating senior who has completed at least twenty-eight credit hours in mathematics and has earned the highest GPA in these courses.

THELMA BALTZ MORROW AWARDS IN ENGLISH
The Morrow Award is presented annually to the three students who, in the judgment of the English faculty, have consistently demonstrated the highest standards of excellence in the use of the English language.

HILDA ADAM KRING AWARD
A substantial scholarship awarded annually to a junior English major for use in the senior year.  Selection criteria include academic achievement and creative potential for professional success in the student’s chosen field.

An outstanding senior student of French is recognized with the presentation of this award.

This award is presented in honor of Dr. J. B. Ladd, who served the college for thirty years as a professor of French in the Department of Modern Languages, to a junior French major who has demonstrated academic excellence.

The Robert H. Sisler Award is presented by Alpha Mu Gamma, the national foreign language honorary, to an outstanding modern language senior who has demonstrated leadership, academic excellence, concern for others through involvement in campus and community life, and “joie de vivre,” or the joy of living.

This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. McKillop, who served the College and the History Department for thirty years.  The recipient must show seriousness of purpose, creative potential, academic achievement, and likelihood of success in the study of law or history.

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
A suitably inscribed medal, permanent plaque recognition, and a subscription to The Wall Street Journal are awarded to the outstanding senior majoring in Business Management.

The Ross A. Foster Scholarship honors Dr. Ross Foster who for more than 30 years at Grove City College showed excellence in teaching and administration.  The award is given to a senior student of proven ability in Christian Thought who will be entering an approved seminary upon graduation.

A substantial scholarship awarded annually to an outstanding leader of the junior class for use in the senior year.  Selection is based on the leadership criteria of the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honorary society.

SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR - SPORTSWOMAN OF THE YEAR
The awards for Sportsman of the Year and Sportswoman of the Year are presented jointly by Mortar Board and ODK.  The selections are made on the basis of the student's contribution to the Grove City College athletic program.

SENIOR MAN OF THE YEAR - SENIOR WOMAN OF THE YEAR
The awards for Senior Man of the Year and the Senior Woman of the Year are presented jointly by Mortar Board and ODK.  The selections are made on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and service.  It is one of the highest honors that the College can bestow.
