The Spring Dance Show is one of the many exciting highlights of Parents' Weekend. The 2008 Spring Dance Company invites you to Experience the Magic as they celebrate the legacy of the Walt Disney Company. Join choreographers Joy Gardiner, Kendra Doerr, Kimberly Stains, Danielle Morgan, Liz Bryan, Megan Bunnell, Laura Prior, Julie Kulin, Alyssa Williams, Cailin White, Bethany May and Adam Palmer as they perform selections from Lilo & Stitch, Newsies, Aladdin, Oliver and Company, Hercules, Remember the Titans, Mary Poppins, and High School Musical.

The performance will conclude with a finale commemorating all the “Decades of Disney” with a sampling of songs from Enchanted, The Parent Trap, Tarzan, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan and The Little Mermaid.  

Audiences will have two chances to see the performance; Thursday, May 1^st at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 3^rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Arena of the Physical Learning Center. Both performances are free.

The Spring Dance show started in 1920 as a May Pole dance that took place on lower campus. The dance quickly evolved into a pageant in honor of the May Queen, and has continued to be an integral part of the Parents' Weekend activities.

This year's Spring Dance Show second performance will take place in the Physical Learning Center Arena at 3:00 PM on Saturday May 3rd following the Spring Court Processional.
