Class Times: 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 12:00 pm to
2:00 pm Exams: Midterms - Saturday, May 25 Pre-Intersession Assignments: Instructors may send assignments in advance to registered students. Closed Classes: The enrollment capacities for intersession courses are established by the instructor and the Registrar's Office. Please contact the Registrar's Office regarding the status of a closed class. Cancelled Classes: The College reserves the right to cancel any course if there is insufficient enrollment. Students will be notified shortly after May 3 and may choose another course that is open or withdraw from Intersession without penalty. Drop/Add Period: Class may be added or dropped by Monday, May 20 at 9:00 am. Withdrawal Period: May
20-27 - Class remains on the transcript with a grade of "W”. Tuition: $335/credit hour Room & Board: May
16-June 1: $646 (Pre-Intersession and Intersession) Colonial Hall Apartment residents selecting the pre-intersession and
intersession period (May 16-June 1) will receive board beginning with
dinner on May 16.
Resident Hall students staying on-campus (including Colonial Hall) after
the end of the spring 2013 term will remain in their currently assigned
rooms until Saturday, May 18 (pre-intersession). Beginning May 19-June
1, residents will be moved to Memorial Hall (men) or Mary Ethel Pew Hall
(women). Student Life will e-mail details for moving in after the
May 13 deadline. For

payments received after the payment deadline. Intersession Refund Policy: If a student voluntarily withdraws
from Intersession within the first three days of class he/she may be
refunded a portion of the tuition charges in accordance with the
following schedule: A prorated portion of room an board charges will be refunded to all students based on the date of withdrawal. Resident students who withdraw from Intersession must move out of the residence hall and leave campus immediately. Any questions on dropping or withdrawing may be directed to the Registrar's Office: 724-458-2172 or registrar@gcc.edu Parking: Students with a car on campus for Intersession who do not have a 2012-13 parking decal must register the car with the Campus Safety Office. If a student is changing parking status for Intersession (example you are a resident student and have a resident permit, but are commuting for intersession) he/she must pick up a temporary permit from the Campus Safety Office to change parking status. Students must bring a driver’s license and registration card to the Campus Safety Office. Parking for intersession is free. |
