Closed Classes: The enrollment capacities for intersession courses are established by the instructor and the Registrar's Office. Please contact the Registrar's Office regarding the status of a closed class.
Cancelled Classes: The College reserves the right to cancel any course if there is insufficient enrollment. Students will be notified shortly after May 2 and may choose another course that is open or withdraw from Intersession without penalty.
Drop/Add Period: Monday, May 19, by 4:00 pm.

20-May 26 - Class remains on the transcript with a grade of "W”.

15-May 31: $663 (Pre-Intersession and Intersession - 17 days)
Colonial Hall Apartment residents selecting the pre-intersession and intersession period (May 15-May 31) will receive board beginning with dinner on May 15 through May 31.
Residence Hall/Commuter Status: An automated e-mail from the Office of Student Life and Learning will be sent to each residence hall student to request that he/she use myGCC to select the May 15-May 31 or May 19-May 31 residence period and to inform Student Life that he/she plans to live on or off campus. The deadline for Intersession housing is Friday, May 9.
Residence Hall students staying on-campus (including Colonial Hall) after the end of the spring 2014 term will remain in their currently assigned rooms until Saturday, May 17 (pre-intersession). Beginning May 18-May 31, residents will be moved to Memorial Hall (men) or Mary Ethel Pew Hall (women). Student Life will e-mail details for moving in after the May 17 deadline.

Intersession Refund Policy: If a student voluntarily withdraws
from Intersession within the first three days of class he/she may be
refunded a portion of the tuition charges in accordance with the
A student who does not attend and does not notify the Registrar's Office that he/she is withdrawing from an Intersession course will be withdrawn on the first day of class and refunded according to the above schedule. When a student withdraws on or after the first day of class, a prorated portion of room and board charges will be refunded based on the date of withdrawal. Resident students who withdraw from Intersession must vacate the residence hall and leave campus immediately.

Parking: Parking for intersession is free. Students brining a car on campus for Intersession that do not have a 2013-14 parking decal, or are changing status (example you are a resident student and have a resident permit, but are commuting for intersession) must register their car. Please register online by going to the Sign-Up tab on myGCC.
