Volunteers Needed to Care for Children
New Wilmington MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is looking for volunteers who would be interested in facilitating a loving, safe, fun, and educational environment for small groups of children (aged infant through preschool), allowing mothers to participate in MOPS activities. Curriculum is provided, which includes: lessons, stories, crafts, activities, and more. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ with a group of children, to teach them the stories of the Bible, and to help them make connections between God’s Word and the world around them. MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Please click here for more information. Contact Jen Harvey at JenH446@hotmail.com or Jessie Lasko at jessielasko@hotmail.com for more information.

Companion Needed for Special Needs Child
A local man who is a single, disabled father is looking for a college student to serve as a companion to his 17 year old special needs son. The boy is mentally on a 5 or 6 year old level, but physically is fine. He enjoys listening to music, playing basketball, tennis, swimming, or just taking walks. He needs a "buddy" or "companion" to do "fun" things with him on weekends and is pretty much self-sufficient--he only needs supervision and guidance.
The family lives in Slippery Rock.
Any further questions can be directed to Gene Morris at 724-679-0437, or Phyllis Conley at 724-612-0813.
