GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College junior women's basketball player Kathryn Erbelding (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Olympia) and sophomore men's swimmer Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) both earned weekly honors for their performances in their respective sports earlier this week.

Erbelding was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference's Player of the Week while Nosbisch was named Men's Swimmer of the Week for both the PAC and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South.

Erbelding led the Wolverines to a 2-0 record on the week, averaging 21.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.5 steals and 3.0 assists while shooting 57.6 percent from the field. In Saturday's 67-55 victory over Thiel, she matched a career-high with eight steals to lead Grove City to a program-record 22 steals as a team.

On the season, Erbelding leads the conference in steals per game (3.5), sixth in scoring (14.7) and seventh in rebounding (7.7).

Grove City is 7-9 overall and 5-4 in PAC play at the midway point of the conference schedule. The Wolverines visit Washington & Jefferson Saturday for a 2 p.m. conference matchup.

Nosbisch earned two individual wins and helped Grove City to a pair of relay victories in the Wolverines' 171-126 win at SUNY-Fredonia. He took the 100 fly in 53.28 and the 200 free in 1:48.25. He swam the fly leg of the team's meet-opening 200 medley relay before anchoring the victory in the 200 free relay.

Nosbisch ranks in the top seven in the conference in 10 different individual events, including top-three rankings in the 50 free (2nd), 1000 (3rd), 1650 (3rd) and 100 breast (3rd).

Grove City's men are 4-5 overall and 1-1 against conference opponents this season. The Wolverines host PAC-rival Westminster on Thursday, January 29 at 6 p.m.
