Rabenold, Loew earn PAC weekly honors

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Junior cross country runner Emily Rabenold (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) and junior men's soccer player Seth Loew (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) were honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference as athletes of the week for August 25-31.

Rabenold, the reigning PAC Most Valuable Performer, was named the Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week for the second time in her career after earning medalist honors at Daniel Walker Invitational, hosted by Buffalo State. She completed the 5K course in 19:22 to lead the Wolverines to a team runner-up finish.

The Grove City cross country teams return to action at the Bethany Invitational on September 13.

Loew was named the conference's Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after recording a goal and three assists in two matches over the weekend. He assisted on the Wolverines' lone goal against Mount Vernon Nazarene on Friday before posting a goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday.

The men's soccer team travels to Allegheny on Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. non-conference match.
