GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Grove City College sophomore breaststroke/distance swimmer Megan Smith (Tyler, Texas/Kolbe Academy) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets contested from November 10-16, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Smith earned the honor after posting three individual victories in Grove City's 155-139 win over NCAA Division II opponent Wheeling Jesuit at home on Saturday afternoon. She opened her day with a victory in the 1000 free in 10 minutes, 51.44 seconds before rolling to a win in the 500 free by nearly eight seconds (5:17.85). Smith then closed her day with a victorious time of 4:46.47 in the 400 individual medley.

Smith owns the top time in the PAC this season in each of those three events and ranks among the league's top-three in four additional individual events.

The Grove City College men's and women's swimming and diving teams host Case Western and Gannon on Saturday at 12 p.m. in non-league action.
