GCC drops two to St. Vincent First Game Box Second Game Box GROVE CITY, PA, April 29, 2000--Mike Kashurba (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) and Nate Kauffman (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) ripped back-to-back homers -- the sixth of the season for each -- but visiting St. Vincent took a pair from host Grove City Saturday, winning 8-1 and 14-3. Kauffman went 4-for-7 in the twin bill, while Ben Helms (Mead, WA/St. George School) collected three hits in six at-bats with a double. Kashurba doubled in the first game and finished 2-for-5 on the day. The Wolverines fell to 13-15 overall, while the Bearcats improved to 11-31. |
