GCC stumbles at Marietta
MARIETTA, OH, April 3, 2001--Wolverine batters were held to three hits Tuesday in an 11-4 loss at perennial Division III power Marietta College.
Seniors Adam Myers (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Lake), Mike Kashurba (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) and Jeff Conaway (Freeport, PA/Freeport) each singled, while senior Adam Booth (Hartville, OH/Lake) walked three times and scored three of the Wolverines' four runs.
Junior RHP Justin Magee (Grove City, PA/Grove City) started and allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits through two innings.
Grove City fell to 7-4, overall, while Marietta
improved to 16-5.
