March 30, 1999--The Wolverines rebounded from yesterday's pair of one-run losses with a convincing sweep over visiting Thiel by final counts of 10-4 and 11-0.

Chris Hussar (Newtown Square, PA/Delaware County Christian) got the win (2-0) in game one, striking out six and allowing three hits and three runs over six innings.  Nate Kauffman (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) and Eric Kephart (Osceola Mills, PA/Philisburg-Osceola) recorded two hits each for the Wolverines, who spotted Thiel two runs in the first inning before scoring two in the first, four in the second and three in the third.

Jeff Meyers (Spencerport, NY/Churchville-Chili) notched his first college win (1-0) in the nightcap, surrendering just three hits over six innings.  Meyers struck out one and walked none.  Ron Jones (Butler, PA/Knoch), Paul Como (Grove City, PA/Grove City) and Justin Bell (Grove City, PA/Grove City) each contributed two hits.  Justin Magee (Grove City, PA/Grove City) hurled one scoreless inning of relief.

Grove City improved to 8-4 overall and 5-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.   Thiel fell to 0-10 overall and 0-8 in the PAC.
