CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. --  The Grove City College baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision in 10 innings at Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Thomas More Saturday afternoon.

The Saints broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the 10th when Travis Miller doubled in Donovan Hogue.

Grove City forged a 1-1 tie in the top of the second when senior second baseman John Rende (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) singled in freshman first baseman Matt Waugaman (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny).

Waugaman singled in freshman shortstop David Laylock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pine-Richland) in the sixth inning to put Grove City up 2-1.

Waugaman, junior left fielder Josh Hodges (Johnson City, N.Y./Johnson City) and freshman center fielder Jimmy Palmer (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) all went 2 for 4. Senior third baseman Matt Corner (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) and freshman catcher Nick Fryer (Medina, Ohio/Medina) both doubled.
