Bermann earns All-South

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College senior offensive guard Josh Bermann (Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline) earned Third Team All-South Region Tuesday afternoon from, the nation's foremost web site for NCAA Division III football.

The 6-foot-1, 270-pound Bermann anchored Grove City's offensive line this year by starting all 10 games at right guard. A team co-captain, Bermann's efforts helped senior tailback Shane Kaclik (Mars, Pa./Mars) lead the Presidents' Athletic Conference in rushing with 1,098 yards. Grove City also led the conference in average time of possession (32:41) and red zone scoring as the Wolverines scored on 31 of their 37 (84 percent) trips inside the opposition's 20-yard line.

Bermann earned First Team All-PAC from the league's head coaches following the season. He earned four letters during his career and also captured the team's Rookie of the Year award in 2009.

Grove City finished 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the conference this year.
