Win streak reaches four 

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- In his final regular-season home game at Grove City College, senior forward Tanner Prosser (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brentwood) led five Wolverine players in double figures as Grove City (13-12, 7-3 PAC) closed the regular season with an 82-72 win over Washington and Jefferson (7-18, 1-9 PAC) in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at the Grove City College Arena Saturday.

Prosser fired in 18 points and added eight rebounds as the Wolverines recorded their fourth straight victory. Grove City closed conference play with seven wins in eight games.

In addition to Prosser's 18-point outing, junior point guard Mike Lukcic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) added 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting while backcourt partner J.D. Collar (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) chipped in 13 points.

Swingman Matt Phillips (Bainbridge, Ohio/Kenston) added a dozen points for the Wolverines while freshman guard Bobby Glass (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) came off the bench to contribute 10 points. 

Grove City led 33-28 at the half and broke the game open in the second half with a 15-2 run. Lukcic and Glass each swished three-pointers while sophomore forward Chuck Cotherman (Knox, Pa./Keystone) drained a 17-foot jumper. Glass capped the run with a jumper.

In the second half, Grove City shot 20 of 32 (62.5 percent) from the floor. For the game, Grove City out-rebounded the Presidents 42-31.

Prosser now has 1,234 points, sixth all-time in Grove City history. His 780 rebounds are the most for any Grove City player since 1970 while his 360 assists are also a College record.

Junior forward Ryan Eller (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) added eight points, raising his season total to 394. That is the 16th-highest single-season total in Grove City history. Only 10 Grove City players have ever scored 400 or more points in one season.

Grove City will host Washington and Jefferson Tuesday night in the PAC quarterfinals. Tip-off is 8 p.m. Grove City is the No. 3 seed while the Presidents are seeded sixth.
