La Roche 69, Grove City 66

December 9, 1998--Grove City senior Mike Cratsley (Temecula, CA/Temecula) scored a team-high 17 points and junior Lee Huffman (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton) led the way with 16 rebounds, but the Wolverines came away a three-point loser at La Roche, 69-66.

The Wolverines fell behind 14-2 and trailed by nine points at halftime.

Grove City managed to take its first lead midway through the second half, but a combination of poor outside shooting down the stretch and inferior play underneath kept the Wolverines from their fourth win in six games.

Grove City, 3-3 overall, hosts Pitt-Greensburg Saturday at 4:00 p.m.  The game can be heard live on 91.1, WSAJ-FM.
