Grove City 74, Wilmington (OH) 53

December 30, 1998--Three Wolverines scored in double figures to lead Grove City past Wilmington, 74-53, in the consolation game of Otterbein's "O" Club Classic in Westerville, OH.

Junior Damon Finazzo (Erie, PA/McDowell) led the way with a career-high 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the floor and a 6-for-6 effort from the line.   Junior Dave Pifer (Sarver, PA/Freeport) netted 11 points, including three treys, and senior Michael Cratsley (Temecula, CA/Temecula) tossed in 10 points.

Grove City shot 55.3% from the field, while holding the Quakers to 36.0%.

The Wolverines improved to 5-4 overall, while Wilmington slipped to 1-9.  GCC will compete at the Moravian Classic in Bethlehem, PA next Tuesday and Wednesday, January 5-6.
