Cold Night Outside in Erie Box Score ERIE, PA, January 4, 2000--The Wolverines couldn't overcome 4-for-17 shooting from outside the arc in a 69-60 loss to Penn State Behrend in Erie, PA. Grove City dropped to 2-8, while Behrend improved to 9-1. Dave Pifer (Sarver, PA/Freeport) led the Wolverines with 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting, including 2-for-3 on threes. Chris Kreider (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) nailed 6 of 8 from the floor to finish with 13 points. Tanner Prosser (Brentwood, PA/Brentwood) grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds and Pat Roberts (Marion Center, PA/Home) had seven boards as Grove City out-rebounded Behrend, 35-23. Matt Keith scored a game-high 21 points for the Lions, including five treys. The Wolverines trailed by two at halftime, 29-27. |
