Pitt-Bradford Tops GCC, 57-52 Box Score BRADFORD, PA, January 29, 2000--Neither team shot better than 37% from the floor, but Pitt-Bradford hit 19 of 26 foul shots to defeat visiting Grove City, 57-52, Saturday in non-conference action. The Wolverines fell to 6-13 overall, while the Panthers upped their mark to 11-6.. Tanner Prosser (Brentwood, PA/Brentwood) and Pat Roberts (Home, PA/Marion Center) were the only Wolverines in double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectivley. Prosser added a game-high 10 rebounds and three steals. Pitt-Bradford's Matt Barnes tossed in 15 points, pacing four Panthers in double digits. Grove City trailed at halftime, 31-22. The Wolverines return to Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday, February 2, at Waynesburg. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. |
