GCC places in middle of field at Speidel

WHEELING, WV, April 4, 2001--Junior Nate Miklos carded a second-place 77 in the field of 44 as the Wolverine golf team took fifth at the nine-school Bethany Invitational held at Oglebay's Speidel layout in Wheeling, WV.

Miklos placed one shot behind medalist Jason Lawrence of Carnegie Mellon, who shot 76.

Washington & Jefferson and Westminster tied for first place in the team standings with 320 strokes followed by Pitt-Greensburg (329), CMU (332), Grove City (339), Penn State Beaver (350), Waynesburg (381), Bethany (382) and Thiel (388).
