Wolverines finish seventh at Lone

WASHINGTON, PA, April 9, 2001--The Grove City College men's golf team placed seventh out
of 11 schools at Monday's Washington & Jefferson Invitational, held at the Lone Pine
Golf Club in Washington, PA.
Junior Nate Miklos carded the Wolverines' lowest score for the fourth straight match. His round of 82 was good for eighth place in the field of 58.
Washington & Jefferson won the event with 323 strokes, two shots better than runner-up Westminster (325). La Roche placed third (326) followed by Thiel (337), Penn State Altoona (338), Pitt-Greensburg (340), Grove City (347), Bethany (369), Penn State Behrend (369), Waynesburg (375) and St. Vincent (381).
