GCC takes title at
Carmichaels
CARMICHAELS, PA, April 19, 2001--The Wolverine golf team carded the top four
individual scores to place first out of four conference schools at the
Waynesburg Invitational, held at Carmichaels Golf Club Thursday.
Junior Mike Solesha won medalist honors with a two-over round of 72. Junior Chris Moreland and sophomore Dan Sumner fired 74s to tie for second, while junior Nate Miklos turned in a 76 to share fourth place overall.
Grove City won with 296 strokes, followed by Thiel (325), Waynesburg (332) and Bethany (359).
