Wolverines tie for fifth at
Speidel
WHEELING, WV, April 4, 2002--Senior Nate Miklos (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy
Christian) shot an 83 to tie for seventh overall as Grove City tied for fifth out of nine schools
at the Bethany Invitational, held Thursday at Oglebay's
challenging Speidel Golf Course.
Wolverine sophomore Richey Pefferman (New Martinsville, WV/Magnolia) and junior Jeremy Plaisted (Butler, PA/Butler) contributed scores of 84 and 86, respectively.
Pitt-Greensburg won its second invitational in four days with a team score of 330. West Liberty finished three back with 333, followed by Waynesburg and Carnegie Mellon (342), Grove City and Westminster (343), Washington & Jefferson (347), Bethany (386) and Thiel (403).
