Wolverines compete at IUP invite
INDIANA, PA, April 10, 2002-- The Grove City College men's golf team placed 12th out of 12 schools at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Invitational on Wednesday. Junior Dan Sumner (New Wilmington, PA/Neshannock) fired a team-low round 80 for the Wolverines.
IUP won the event with 290, followed by Clarion
(296), West Chester (302), Charleston (303),
Millersville (308), West Liberty State (308), West Virginia
Wesleyan (309), Westminster (310), Allegheny (313), Slippery Rock (315),
St. Francis, Pa. (319) and Grove City (333).
Scott Wildauer of IUP captured individual
medalist honors with a 70.
