Wolverines take second at Carmichaels

CARMICHAELS, PA, April 17, 2002--The Grove City College men's golf team placed runner-up to Waynesburg College on Wednesday as the host Yellow Jackets won their own invitational by six strokes at the Carmichaels Golf Course in Carmichaels, Pa.

Senior Nate Miklos (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy Christian) and junior Jeremy Plaisted (Butler, PA/Butler) carded rounds of 74 and 75, respectively, to pace Grove City.  Waynesburg's Scott Bedillion claimed medalist honors with a 73.

Waynesburg finished with a team score of 300, followed by Grove City (306), St. Vincent College (316), Thiel College (329) and Bethany College (332).
