Mohrman tops at Grove City Invitational

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed fourth out of six teams in the Grove City Invitational at Grove City Country Club Monday afternoon.

The Wolverines accumulated 324 strokes as a team, trailing Thiel (319), Westminster (322) and Waynesburg (323). Penn State Behrend finished fifth with 337 strokes while La Roche took sixth at 346.

Junior Jeff Mohrman (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) earned medalist honors with a 77, his first individual title of the season. Junior Alex Intihar (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) and sophomore Jon Cameron (Solon, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) tied for ninth with rounds of 80.

Grove City will participate in the Waynesburg Invitational Thursday afternoon.
