Grove City finishes 4th at PAC Championships

WHEELING, W. Va. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed fourth of five teams at the 2004 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Friday at Spiedel Golf Course at Oglebay Park. The Wolverines accumulated 669 strokes at the 36-hole event, finishing behind Westminster (634), Washington and Jefferson (646) and Thiel (669). Waynesburg finished fifth with 673.

Sophomore Jon Cameron (Solon, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) earned Second Team All-PAC honors by tying for eighth place with a two-day total of 162. Cameron shot a 79 Friday.

Junior Jeff Mohrman (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) took 11th with a total of 165 while junior Alex Intihar (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) tied for 13th with 167.

Washington and Jefferson's Bob Waters earned medalist honors with a sum of 151.
