Wolverines win Thiel Invitational
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team won the Thiel College Invitational Thursday afternoon at Greenville Country Club. Grove City accumulated 308 total strokes, good for a 15-shot win over second-place Thiel. Waynesburg (332) and Westminster (333) completed the field.
Junior Tony Zanotti (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) earned medalist honors by firing a 73 on the par-72 course. Freshman Tyler Fitch (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Christian) tied for second at 74 while classmate Dustin Sams (Sligo, Pa./Union Rimersburg) tied for fifth with a 79.
Grove City will host the Grove City Invitational Monday afternoon at Grove City Country Club.
