Grove City takes 2nd at own Invitational

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed second at the College's McBride-Behringer-Allen Invitational Monday afternoon at Grove City Country Club. The Wolverines accumulated 307 team strokes, trailing only Westminster (301).

Junior Tony Zanotti (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) took fourth with a 75 while senior Jeff Mohrman (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) tied for fifth at 76. The event was named in honor of Grove City graduate and trustee Milford "Miff" McBride, retired Grove City athletic director and golf coach Jack Behringer and longtime golf coach Bill Allen.

Grove City will compete in the Waynesburg Invitational Thursday.
