Grove City 11th at Mid-Atlantic Invitational
HERSHEY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed 11th out of 16 teams over the weekend at the Mid-Atlantic Invitational at Hershey Country Club. The Wolverines accumulated a two-day total of 663 on the par-71 course. Allegheny won with a 36-hole total of 619 while Rochester, St. John Fisher and Washington and Jefferson all tied for second at 637.
Sophomore Tyler Fitch (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Christian) led Grove City with a 14th-place finish. Fitch fired 79-80 159 to forge a four-way tie for 14th.
Grove City will host the McBride-Behringer-Allen (MBA) Invitational Monday afternoon at Grove City Country Club.
