Grove City competes at John Carroll
MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed fifth at the five-team John Carroll University Pat Flowers Invitational at Thunder Hill Golf Club. Grove City accumulated 330 team strokes. Lakeland Community College won with 313 total strokes, followed by John Carroll "B" (320), Notre Dame of Ohio (322) and John Carroll "A" (323).
Sophomore Dan Statler (Latrobe, Pa./Latrobe) took third overall with a 76 while junior Tyler Fitch (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Christian) tied for fourth with a 77.
Grove City will host its annual McBride-Behringer-Allen "MBA" Invitational Monday at Grove City Country Club.
